We just came back from the VDH Dog Show in Neumuenster. Banshee started in the intermediate class for the first time and won V1, CAC. We just missed the CACIB but the two competitors have been Multichampions and therefore we are not sad about this. Panda joined us and smelled Show Air for the first time. Obviously she defined it as "non-dangerous" ane enjoyed the time in the shady crate.
We also send our best congratulations to Petra, Helga and Manfred with Troy, Demian and Sunny for the outstanding success in Salzburg (A)

Upon the request of my Employer, I have decided not to participate at the BKD-Klubshow in Hannover-Garbsen. It is not possible/good to stay away from work a whole weekend during the touristical high-season. Hannover-Garbsen is about 5 hrs. to drive from here, and this is not done easyly besides working.... maybe another chance...

Yesterday Panda had her premiere in front of large audience. We participated in a breed presentation, organized by the DKK called "Hundens verden" (Dogs of the world). We have been asked to represent the breed Basenjis and participated in a parade through the whole Tivoli Friheden park in Aarhus. After the parade, a few breeds have been presented on a large stage as well. Panda did a great job with so many people around. She only was not sure about her stage-applause, but everything else was perfect for her. I am very surprised and proud, how easy she was during the whole time.
Using todays chance, I measured both girls. Banshee is about 40 cm high at Shoulder and Panda approx. 42 cm and even a little above.

I have worked hard to translate a few more pages to English. Now available are: breeding, litter plans 2008, matings, my thoughts about breeding, breed standard (but this is stolen from Sally Wallis' site, sorry, Sally!)

I just received Panda's registration paperworks back from the DKK. And we do have a gallery now, which is to be filled within the next few days. As the Gallery-Software is a Beta-Version provided by the Websiteprovider it might come to a few disturbancies as the software is in a test-phase now. If the Gallery is not available or does not work properly it comes from the not finally managed problems with the software launched to the server of the provider of the webspace. They are working on it to solve all the problems.

We are back! We have had a wonderfull weekend in Bad Mergentheim at the Old Legend's Puppy Meeting. The weather was perfect for such a day and the dogs behaved very well. I want to thank Petra and Steve for the perfect day and the never ending work at the BBQ. It was a pleasure to see all the people and the dogs. It was fun to talk the whole day about "the dogs". We are happy to have met you all and are looking forward to the next Old Legend's Puppy Meeting in 2009.
